Graduate School dean candidate visit rescheduled

The candidate for dean of the Graduate School who was scheduled to visit the West Lafayette campus on Monday, May 19, will now visit on June 2-3.

The time and place for the open forum for Debasish Dutta has not been determined.

Dutta is a professor of mechanical engineering at the University of Michigan and scholar-in-residence for the National Academy of Engineering, Center for the Scholarship of Engineering Education.

Two candidates visited campus this week: Duane Larick, senior associate dean of the Graduate School at North Carolina State University, and Craig Edelbrock, associate dean of the Graduate School at teh University of Georgia.

Another candidate, Gita Ramaswamy, associate dean of the Graduate School at Purdue, will have an open forum on May 28 or May 29.
