5/12/95--Purdue's Friday night commencement parade winds around the water sculpture on the way into Elliott Hall of Music on the West Lafayette, Ind., campus. Friday's (5/12) ceremonies included the schools of Agriculture, Management, Science, and Veterinary Medicine. About 4,500 students were eligible for degrees at this spring's exercises. 5/13/95--Shane Emoto, from Pukalani, Maui, Hawaii, gets a flower lei from his mother (Beverley) after receiving his degree from Purdue University in civil engineering at Saturday (5/13) morning commencement exercises in West Lafayette, Ind. Emoto was one of about 4,500 students eligible for degrees from Purdue this spring. Purdue's mascot "Boilermaker Special" locomotive is in the background.
