FLOOD EXPERTS LIST January 13, 2005 Purdue experts available for comment on floodsWEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - Purdue University experts in water quality, indoor environments and meteorology can speak about Indiana's recent flooding. The extent of flooding throughout January makes it the third worst flood on record in the state. Counties throughout central and southern Indiana have been hard hit by the worst flooding since 1950. The following Purdue experts can talk about a variety of topics related to flooding and its impact: Brent Ladd, a water quality specialist, can talk about the effects flooding has on wells and ways to disinfect flooded wells.
