January 21, 2005 Purdue Research Park company to 'graduate' from incubatorFuturaGene Inc., a biotechnology company that is developing ways to grow crops in extremely unfavorable conditions, will keep headquarters at Purdue Research Park following its "graduation" from an incubator system where it started operations four years ago. Journalists are invited to attend a reception honoring FuturaGene at noon on Monday (Jan. 24) in the lower-level conference room of Vistech I, a privately-owned building within the park where the company will occupy 1,400 square feet of office space. Vistech 1 is located at 1435 Win Hentschel Blvd. on the corner of Win Hentschel and Kent Avenue in West Lafayette. The event will begin with remarks from Joseph Hornett, the Purdue Research Foundation's senior vice president and treasurer, along with other foundation officials and FuturaGene representatives, and conclude with a toast.
