President Jischke to talk on radio show about career programs

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – Purdue University President Martin C. Jischke on Wednesday (March 2) will talk about career programs and opportunities at Purdue during WBAA's live call-in radio show.

From 2-3 p.m. during the station's "AM920 Magazine" Jischke will field questions from WBAA station manager Dan Skinner and the listening audience.

"Getting a job is certainly a high priority for many college students," Skinner said. "We are going to talk with President Jischke about some of the programs and opportunities that Purdue has in place to help students achieve their goals. He will also address what is going on in the state legislative process this year."

Jischke discusses different topics on every show, which airs the first Wednesday of each month through throughout the year. Skinner said past interviews with the president included a focus on diversity, athletics, marketing, teaching, engagement and funding sources.

WBAA's AM signal reaches approximately two-thirds of Indiana and can be heard globally via the station's Web site.
