President Jischke to discuss campus security on WBAA radio show

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – Purdue University President Martin C. Jischke will talk about efforts to maximize campus safety during WBAA's live call-in radio show on Wednesday (May 4).

From 2-3 p.m. during the station's "AM920 Magazine," Jischke will field questions from WBAA station manager Dan Skinner and the listening audience.

"As a campus community, we are fortunate to have such a safe environment in which to live and work," Skinner said. "This program is a great opportunity for people to learn about the efforts it takes to make this safe environment possible."

Jischke will discuss the role of the Purdue Police Department and the part every individual plays in campus safety. Among the safety programs offered by the university are security escorts and self-defense training.
