Purdue reopens four buildings after vehicles checked for hazardous material

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – Purdue employees working in four south campus buildings can report to their jobs after officials found no hazardous materials in two vehicles parked near Grant and Williams streets.

The Tippecanoe County Bomb Squad this morning (Tuesday, Aug. 30) examined a car and a recreational vehicle near the intersection and found no dangerous materials.

Freehafer Hall, Lynn Hall of Veterinary Medicine, South Campus Courts and Wade Utility Plant had been closed. All the buildings have been reopened.
