Indiana Pacers sponsor night for 4-Hers and their families

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. — 4-H youth and their families will have the opportunity to attend the March 26 Indiana Pacers game at a discounted price.

"We've been doing this for several years now," said Chris Cook-Leitz, Purdue University Extension specialist. "It started with the WNBA partnering with 4-H and has grown from there."

The Pacers will take on the Philadelphia 76ers in a 1 p.m. game at Conseco Fieldhouse, which will be televised on ABC. Doors open at 11:30 a.m.

Tickets are $46, $27 or $17, which includes a $3 discount on admission price. Everyone who orders tickets using the 4-H order form will be entered into a drawing for an autographed Pacers item and will receive a 10 percent discount coupon for the Home Court Gift Shop. In addition, 4-Hers will be welcomed on the scoreboard at the game's halftime.

Cook-Leitz said that last year's event drew more than 300 4-H members, their families, leaders and Extension personnel.

Order forms are available on the state 4-H Web site, or by contacting Cook-Leitz at (765) 494-8433, cookleit@purdue.edu. Forms must be received by Monday (March 20).
