Appointments and promotions

— Jennifer Mellette Kaiser will begin as a development associate for the Krannert School of Management on April 12. She has been working at Purdue Employees Federal Credit Union for several years, most recently as assistant branch manager.  Kaiser received a bachelor of science degree from Krannert in 2002.

Campus activities

— Purdue College of Liberal Arts alumna Angie Klink will sign her award-winning children's book "Purdue Pete Finds His Hammer" during Purdue's Spring Fest from noon to 2 p.m. April 8. Klink will be at the College of Liberal Arts tent on the north end of the Memorial Mall. Proceeds from the book will go toward the Chris Ribneck scholarship fund. Other events at the tent will include a free Purdue Pete coloring page, games, crafts, prizes, face painting and giveaways for alumni.

— Purdue Teaching and Learning Technologies is sponsoring a two-day "Workshop on the Impact of Pen-based Technology on Education" on April 6-7 in Stewart Center. Experts from Purdue, other universities and industry leaders such as Microsoft and Hewlett-Packard will present research. The workshop is open to anyone interested in instructional technology. More information is available online.
