Appointments and promotions

— Joe Sepkovich has joined Purdue University’s Technical Assistance Program as an account manager for Northern Indiana, working out of the Northeast Indiana Innovation Center in Fort Wayne. Before joining TAP, Sepkovich was human resources supervisor for TI Automotive in Ossian, Ind. In June, Purdue announced plans to open new TAP offices in Fort Wayne, Anderson and Merrillville. The Technical Assistance Program through Purdue is designed to work with companies and manufacturers to improve workflow and boost their profitability.

Faculty and staff honors

— Michael T. O'Hair, associate dean for statewide technology and engagement in the College of Technology, has recently been appointed to the Indiana Department of Workforce Development's State Action Team on Manufacturing. The team's mission will be to develop a statewide solution to alleviate the disconnect between today's workforce and 21st-century manufacturing.
