Purdue dining courts name employees of the month
WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. — Five Indiana students are among eight recipients to earn student employee of the month awards from Purdue University's Ford and Hillenbrand dining courts.
Leah Santerre and Stephanie Leipertz, both from West Lafayette, Ind.; Donald Garrett of Indianapolis; Cory Weaver of Galveston, Ind.; and Joe Catrambone of Elmwood Park, Ill., were honored by Ford Dining Court. April Kraft of Indianapolis; Alexandria Massa of St. Louis; and Kyle Anderson of Novi, Mich., were honored by Hillenband Dining Court.
"Student employees are the backbone of all our operations," said Purdue Housing and Food Services spokesperson Franzine Schneider. "The performance by these select students is of great service to the entire student body and serves as an admirable example to their fellow employees."
The students were recognized for their exceptional performance during the month of September. Winners are selected by food staff administrators and student managers. Each winner receives gift certificates for on-campus retail establishments.
Purdue Housing and Food Services employs nearly 2,000 students.
