Airfare-only Champs Sports Bowl travel package now available

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. — Purdue Alumni Association is now offering an airfare-only travel package for football fans wanting to see the Boilermakers take on the University of Maryland in the Champs Sports Bowl in Orlando, Fla., on Dec. 29.

The air-only Boiler-Up package is $599 and includes a round-trip, non-stop flight from Indianapolis to Orlando, a game ticket to the Champs Sports Bowl and admission to the Purdue pre-game tailgate party.

The flight leaves at 11 a.m. Dec. 27 from Indianapolis International Airport and arrives at Orlando Sanford International Airport at 1 p.m. The return flight departs from Orlando at 1 p.m. Dec. 30 and arrives in Indianapolis at 3 p.m. that day. All times are local.

The tailgate party will take place at 5:30 p.m. Dec. 29 at Tinker Field. The Champs Sports Bowl will be at 8 p.m. that evening.

A travel package can be reserved by calling (888) 471-3027. Seats are limited and available on a first-come basis.

In addition to the Boiler-Up air-only option, Purdue Alumni Association also is offering the Boiler Special Champs Tour. It is $1,597 per person (based on double occupancy) for round-trip airfare to Orlando and a three-night stay at the Rosen Plaza Hotel. Game tickets are $60 each and are not included in the price.
