May 29, 2009 Appointments, honors and activities• Campus activities:— The Purdue University Technical Assistance Program out of Indianapolis is now offering Green Enterprise Development workshops open to the public. The programs are for manufacturers and others interested in learning how to apply sustainable, environmentally friendly practices in the workplace. The workshops are scheduled with Purdue Continuing Education. The workshops include offerings on three levels that include Level 1 - Green Generalist Training; Level 2 - Dumpster Dive, Sustainability in Practice, Energy Management, H2O Conserve, Pollution Solutions and Green Chemistry; and Level 3 - Waste Stream Mapping. All Level 1 and Level 2 courses are one-day workshops that are $395 per person. The Level 3 course is a two-day workshop with a cost of $790 per person. The workshops will be offered at locations in Anderson and Indianapolis.
