Purdue Web site provides helpful holiday resources
WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. From Christmas tree care to holiday spending, a new Purdue University Web site offers resources for the yuletide festivities on your list this year.
The Purdue Extension holiday Web site highlights several resources, such as online publications, Web sites and news articles, which offer information on holiday topics.
Visitors can learn about poinsettia and Christmas tree care, selecting the best Christmas tree variety for your home, preparing healthy holiday meals and budgeting holiday spending. There also is a directory of Purdue Extension specialists to contact about specific seasonal questions.
Information from Purdue's departments of Horticulture, Consumer Sciences and Retailing, Consumer and Family Sciences, Forestry and Natural Resources, Food Science, Foods and Nutrition, and Veterinary Medicine is highlighted on the site.
