Dave Chappelle coming to Elliott Hall on Oct. 18
WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. Comedian and actor Dave Chappelle will perform at Elliott Hall of Music at 8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 18.
The show is sponsored by the Purdue Student Concert Committee, Purdue Student Government, Purdue Interfraternity Council, Phi Beta Sigma and the Purdue Panhellenic Association.
Chappelle began stand-up comedy at age 14, and since that time he has developed a career in comedy and made a mark in the film industry. Chappelle also has had roles in "The Nutty Professor," "Con Air," "Youve Got Mail" and "Blue Streak." Not abandoning his love for stand-up work, Chappelle created "Chappelle's Show," which premiered on Comedy Central in January.
