Faculty and staff honors
Three Purdue professors have received a four-year, $800,000 grant from the National Science Foundation (NSF). The professors are Mikhail Atallah, professor of computer science, Vinayak Deshpande, assistant professor of operations management, and Leroy B. Schwarz, professor of operations management. The award was made under the NSF's Information Technology Research Program. The professors will engage in multidisciplinary research to discover ways to enable supply-chain partners from different collaborating companies to achieve systemwide goals without revealing the private information of any of the partners.
