Jischke to speak about diversity at Purdue on WBAA radio show
WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. The role of diversity in creating and maintaining an optimum learning environment is the focal point of Purdue University President Martin C. Jischke's live radio appearance on WBAA-AM920 on Wednesday (June 2).
During the station's "AM920 Magazine," from 2-3 p.m., Jischke will field questions from WBAA manager Dan Skinner and the listening audience.
"President Jischke will explain the place that diversity has in land-grant universities, all institutions of higher education, the United States and the world," Skinner says. "He will also talk about why he believes that diversity is essential to a rich learning experience."
