Focus Award nominations for disability efforts invited
The Office of Institutional Equity is seeking nominations for the 2010 Focus Awards.
The Focus Awards are given annually to those affiliated with Purdue who have made an outstanding contribution in furtherance of the UniversityÕs commitment to disability accessibility and diversity. One award is offered in each of the following categories: faculty, staff, student and organization. Nominations of alumni and retirees also will be considered within the appropriate category.
The Focus Awards will be presented at the Disability Awareness Month reception scheduled for 10 a.m. March 2 in the West Faculty Lounge, Purdue Memorial Union.
Nominations are due Jan. 29. To submit a nomination for the 2010 Focus Awards, complete a nomination form and return it to Marcy Hintzman, assistant director for Compliance and Disability Services, Office of Institutional Equity, Ernest C. Young Hall, 10th Floor.
