Black Cultural Center's Louisville Legacy Tour sold out

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - A trip to Louisville being sponsored by Purdue University's Black Cultural Center has reached capacity.

Center director Renee Thomas said the African American Legacy Tour, scheduled for March 2-3, cannot accommodate any additional participants. The tour, which will focus on Louisville's rich African-American heritage with visits to the Kentucky Derby Museum and the Muhammad Ali Center, sold out quickly.

"We've had an overwhelming response to the tour," Thomas said. "While we are thrilled to have filled three Purdue motor coaches with participants, this unfortunately means that we cannot accept any more reservations at this time. We thank the university community and public for their interest and apologize for any inconvenience this may cause."
