Campus activities

— Scott Ksander, interim director of Purdue's information technology's networks and telecommunication, will present a lecture on "Identity Theft: Awareness and Prevention" from 10-11:30 a.m. March 6 in Stewart Center's Room 206. The lecture is part of the annual Richard A. Hadley Lecture, sponsored by the Administrative and Professional Staff Advisory Committee.

Faculty and staff honors

— Tammy Conard-Salvo, associate director of the Purdue Writing Lab, has been selected to speak at the Conference on College Composition and Communication annual convention in New York City. Conard-Salvo will make a presentation titled "Creating a 'Tipping Point': Using Images and Words to Represent the Writing Center's Internal and Public Identity" on March 21. On March 22, she will make a presentation about redesigning an online writing lab titled "Grouping, Alignment, and 'Wasted Space': Prioritizing Users' Feedback."
