Carnival night to offer activities for Purdue students

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - Purdue students can celebrate the upcoming end of the semester during a carnival night beginning Friday (April 20).

The carnival is from 10 p.m. Friday to 2 a.m. Saturday (April 21) in front of the Recreational Sports Center. The event is free to Purdue students and is sponsored by the Purdue Student Union Board, University Residences, the Recreational Sports Center and Positive Educational Experiences for Purdue Students.

It will feature bumper cars, games, crafts, free food and prizes. The Battle of the Bands - featuring Takeaway Me, Frame, Motorcars on the Moon, Sammi and Oh Discretion! - also will be part of the event.

The carnival is just one of the events included in the Purdue After Dark series. Events are held throughout the academic year as a way for students to have fun and relieve stress.

In case of inclement weather, the carnival will take place inside the Recreational Sports Center.
