Events are free, except where noted, and are open to news media coverage. ENTERTAINMENT

-- April 27-28. Purdue Repertory Dance Company Spring Works 2007 Dance Concert. Nancy T. Hansen Theatre in Pao Hall of Visual and Performing Arts. The company will perform eight new dance works choreographed by students and faculty. The performances are at 7:30 p.m. on both days, and a matinee performance is 2 p.m. on April 28. Tickets are $12 for the general public, $10 for students and $6 for children 12 and under. Reserved tickets can be purchased in the Loeb Box Office in Stewart Center, the box office in Elliott Hall of Music or the box office in Pao Hall. Tickets also can be reserved by calling (765) 494-3933 and (800) 914-SHOW or through Ticketmaster at (765) 743-5151.

-- May 12. 8:30 p.m. Purdue Varsity Glee Club End of Season Concert. Long Center, 111 N. Sixth St., Lafayette. Concert will feature material from the Glee Club's entire season. Tickets are $15 for adults, $12 for students and children. For information, call (765) 494-3941.

 

EXHIBITS

-- April 30 to May 11. Photography and Related Media Senior Exhibition. Patti and Rusty Rueff Galleries, Yue-Kong Pao Hall of Visual and Performing Arts. The annual exhibition showcases the best work from seniors majoring in photography and related media. The galleries are open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday.

 

CONFERENCES

-- May 10. 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Purdue's sixth annual Advanced Manufacturing Summit. Stewart Center. The summit will feature John Engler, ex-governor of Michigan and president of the National Association of Manufacturing, the largest industry trade group in the United States. OTHER

-- May 11-13. Spring Commencement. Elliott Hall of Music. Tickets are required. Doors will open to guests 90 minutes prior to the ceremony. Four commencement ceremonies will take place.

* Division I. May 11. 8 p.m. College of Technology and School of Management.

* Division II. May 12. 9:30 a.m. College of Engineering, College of Education and School of Veterinary Medicine.

* Division III. May 12. 2:30 p.m. College of Liberal Arts and College of Science.

* Division IV. May 13. 9:30 a.m. College of Agriculture, College of Consumer and Family Sciences and College of Pharmacy, Nursing and Health Sciences.

-- May 18. 8:30 a.m. Stewart Center, Room 326. Purdue board of trustees meeting.
