Jischke to discuss Purdue's diversity initiatives

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - Purdue President Martin C. Jischke on Thursday (May 3) will discuss the impact of the university's diversity efforts.

From 2-3 p.m. during WBAA radio's live call-in show "AM 920 Magazine," Jischke will field questions from host David Bunte and the listening audience. Jischke will detail how the university is implementing the university's strategic vision to foster diversity in every aspect of Purdue's business and campus life.

"During the last five years, nearly 60 percent of Purdue faculty hires have been women or minorities," Bunte said. "Last year, nearly 17 percent of domestic graduate degrees were awarded to members of underrepresented groups."
